Northcote front garden with recycled brick detailing
After extending and refurbishing their weatherboard home, this client needed a front garden that felt just as considered as the work done to the house.
We used recycled red brick to create a functional, welcoming entry, including a step-up connection to the deck that ties the house and garden together cleanly. Steel edging defines the garden beds, keeping lines crisp while allowing the planting to soften the overall feel. The existing crepe myrtles were retained and worked into the layout, with care taken to respect their form and root zones.
The result is a front garden that suits the character of the home without trying too hard.
